DOP is a phthalate plasticizer produced from reaction of 2EH (2-Ethylhexanol) and PA (Phthalic Anhydride). It appears as a colorless, transparent oily liquid with high stability, high boiling point, and solubility in most organic solvents. DOP is the most commonly-used primary plasticizer in the PVC industry, featuring high plasticizing efficiency, well-balanced properties, and cost-effectiveness. The formulation dosage can reach up to 150 phr depending on product requirements.
